When will the nurse refer me to a doctor?

After performing a medical assessment, the Registered Nurse determines whether the patient should be referred to a physician for further evaluation.

Do I need an appointment to see a doctor?

Yes, unless it is an urgent case that could not be postponed.

Do I pay for my visit?

Cashless consultations are made available to you as agreed upon with the insurance carrier.

If I have a medical file at one of the LAU Medical Centers, will the doctor have access to it?

A centralized hospital information system (HIS) allows the clinics physicians to view your laboratory and imaging test results performed at any of our LAU Medical Centers.

Can I do my blood tests on campus?

Blood drawing will be performed twice a week on premises for requested blood tests. Prior coordination with the LAU Health customer service offices and the insurance is needed.
